We’re seeking a future team member for the role of AI‑Augmented Full‑Stack Engineer in Manchester. This role is part of a forward‑thinking engineering organization embracing Engineering 2.0—AI‑augmented developers, intelligent tooling, machine learning, and modern cloud‑native architectures to deliver transformative financial technology at pace.
Responsibilities
* Support implementation of data platforms using Snowflake and maintain integrations with the broader enterprise data ecosystem.
* Assist in building and maintaining event‑streaming architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, AWS Kinesis) to support high‑throughput financial data flows.
* Develop and maintain full‑stack features using .NET/C#, Angular, and SQL, writing clean, well‑tested, maintainable code.
* Lead technical workshops and knowledge‑sharing sessions; learn and contribute to discussions on AI‑augmented development and cloud patterns.
* Collaborate with peer engineers, pair program, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
* Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and data teams to apply best practices for cloud infrastructure and data pipeline design.
* Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
* Contribute to Agile ceremonies and practices to drive effective, adaptive workflows.
Qualifications
* Passion for AI‑augmented development; exposure or willingness to learn tools such as Windsurf, Claude Code, and Model Context Protocols (MCPs).
* Understanding of Engineering 2.0 principles and desire to use AI and intelligent automation to enhance software design, build, and deployment.
* Familiarity with machine‑learning concepts and interest in integrating ML into applications and data pipelines.
* Experience or willingness to learn Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
* Knowledge of event‑streaming concepts and technologies (Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, AWS Kinesis).
* Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud services; willingness to deepen cloud skills across computing, storage, and serverless offerings.
* Working experience with .NET/C#, Angular, and SQL for building applications and data access layers.
* Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and object‑oriented programming.
* Experience or exposure to Agile delivery practices (Scrum preferred).
* Knowledge of TDD, Continuous Integration, and automation practices.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
* Analytical ability to assess designs and code; provide constructive feedback.
* Excellent communication skills; collaborator with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
