Job Focus: The role centers on risk management activities, aimed at identifying and reducing risks associated with technology used within the UK firm. You will report to the Risk Management Manager and receive support from the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organize and manage activities, prioritizing requests based on criticality and risk to the organization
* Liaise with stakeholders to gather information on relevant technologies
* Assist the Risk Management Manager with risk assessments to identify risks and non-compliance issues
* Evaluate the impact of risks on the organization, including financial and reputational implications
* Support remediation efforts, manage, and track risks until resolution
* Serve as the point of contact for business teams regarding information security questions
* Prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
* Own assigned tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure deadlines are met
* Support strategic projects, communication, process improvements, knowledge sharing, and social activities
Skills and Experience:
* Strong interest in building a career in information/cyber security
* Formal qualification in Information Security
* Experience in a relevant security or IT role is desirable but not mandatory
* Attention to detail and ability to verify information accuracy
* Curiosity and intuition to ask relevant questions
* Ability to manage workload, prioritize, and escalate when necessary
* Customer service orientation, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
* Excellent written and presentation skills
* Basic to intermediate data manipulation and visualization skills (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx, Excel)
* Experience with Microsoft M365 is a plus but not essential
