Liquidity Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liquidity Manager to join our dynamic team. The Liquidity Manager will not only oversee our company's relationships with various liquidity providers to ensure the best trading conditions but will also be deeply involved in the investigation of trade and reconciliation issues. With a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and technical proficiency, including expertise in OneZero bridges, this role is crucial for managing liquidity sources effectively and ensuring operational integrity through meticulous trade data analysis and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively investigate trade discrepancies and reconciliation issues, employing a thorough understanding of trade flows and the ability to interpret FIX (Financial Information eXchange) logs for diagnostic purposes.
* Develop strategies to manage liquidity risk, including establishing limits and monitoring metrics that reflect the company’s risk appetite. This will include performing Mark out Analysis.
* Use quantitative skills to analyse trading conditions, liquidity data, and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation.
* Oversee the integration and optimisation of OneZero bridges, ensuring best practices are applied for optimal liquidity conditions.
* Ensure compliance with financial and trading regulations, with a keen understanding of liquidity regulations such as Basel III and the Capital Requirements Directive IV.
* Support onboarding FIX and liquidity clients. Utilise knowledge of reading and interpreting FIX logs to understand trade executions, errors, and for troubleshooting connectivity issues with liquidity providers.
Requirements:
* More than 3 years proven track record in a Treasury, Liquidity Risk function, or technical support role within financial services, with specific experience in handling trade investigations and reconciliations.
* Excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey findings from trade investigations and work collaboratively with trading, risk management, and IT departments to resolve issues.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of FIX protocol and the ability to navigate and interpret FIX logs.
Education and Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
* Advanced degrees or professional certifications related to finance, risk management, or IT are highly valued.
