Your Roles and Responsibilities will include:
* Designing and Delivering Tailored Lessons: You will plan and teach engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the unique learning needs of students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs): You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and reviewing bespoke IEPs, setting clear and achievable goals for each student.
* Assessing and Monitoring Progress: You will regularly assess student progress, using data to inform your teaching and adapting strategies to ensure every child is reaching their full potential.
* Collaborating with Stakeholders: You will work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals (e.g., therapists, psychologists) to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
* Fostering a Positive Environment: You will create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom where students feel valued, respected, and confident in their abilities.
* Maintaining Records: You will keep accurate and detailed records of student progress, behavior, and any other relevant information.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold a valid QTS with experience in an SEN setting.
* Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of various Special Educational Needs, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
* Patience and Empathy: The ability to connect with students on an individual level, showing resilience and a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
* Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and a multi-disciplinary team.
* Innovative Approach: A creative and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to explore new teaching methods and technologies to support learning.
