This post is for 8 hours per week and is Fixed Term to 13/12/2026. As this is a part-time post, the salary will be pro rata to the hours worked. If so, Community Alarms are currently looking to recruit a mobile attendant. You will be required to work throughout West Dunbartonshire, providing assistance to service users within their own homes, as well as dealing with routine calls and the installation of community alarm equipment. The mobile attendants are required to work both individually and as part of a team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team providing reassurance and support to vulnerable people living our the community. The role involves the programming and installing of community alarm equipment. It is essential that you hold, a SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification at SCQF Level 5 or above. You will need to be willing to undertake training in order to competently install and program the equipment and have effective communication skills (both verbally and in writing), a positive professional attitude and the ability to build a positive relationships with service users, follow processes and procedures and work as part of a team. This post is considered a Regulated Role with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.
