Position:
This role offers 26.5 hours per week, £32,412 per annum (FTE £48,925), working 8am to 5pm.
As a Paramedic, you will work within a close team, utilizing your clinical expertise to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of custodial individuals in a court setting. Responsibilities include diagnosis, intervention, record-keeping, and providing clinical advice and guidance. Experience in a prison secure environment is advantageous.
Duties include:
* Adhering to CQC and local policies, and the HCPC Code of Professional Conduct.
* Applying critical analysis during the care process to provide accurate advice and health information.
* Keeping accurate records of service user interactions.
* Documenting consultation notes promptly for clinical guidance.
* Using information sources to support clinical decisions.
* Providing health education and referring to other healthcare providers as needed.
* Consulting with supervisors or colleagues for advice while maintaining accountability.
* Remaining focused amidst a challenging workload.
* Escalating issues affecting service delivery.
Requirements:
* Current HCPC registration as a paramedic, with no investigations or suspensions pending.
* Experience with clinical autonomy.
* Commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as a paramedic.
* Experience in primary and acute secondary care; experience in a prison environment is a plus.
* Basic IT skills, fluent English, full driving license, own transport.
* Professional appearance and conduct.

Part-time hours: 26.5 hours per week.
