GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher of History to join a vibrant school in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who can spark curiosity about the past, develop critical thinking skills, and help students understand the events and ideas that have shaped the world.
Role Responsibilities of History Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across all Key Stages.
* Teach historical concepts, events, and enquiry skills.
* Promote discussion, debate, and critical thinking.
* Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with the Humanities team to enhance curriculum delivery.
What You’ll Bring as History Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching History within UK school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make historical content engaging and accessible.
* Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
