We’re Hiring: Quantity Surveyor | Surrey (Hybrid)
Are you a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary project team delivering a diverse range of capital works across Surrey. Working on refurbishments and some aspects of new build projects.
We’re seeking a QS who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident managing commercial activities across multiple projects.
Location: Reigate, Surrey (with flexibility for hybrid working)
Contract: Full-time
Travel: Occasional visits required
What You’ll Be Doing
* Prepare, collate and manage tender documentation and enquiries.
* Assess tenders and prepare award recommendations.
* Administer contracts, valuations, and final accounts.
* Apply value management techniques and ensure budgets are optimised.
* Monitor cost, risk, and performance, advising on market developments.
* Liaise confidently with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
* Contribute to improvements in internal systems, processes, and templates.
* Support forecasting, planning, feasibility studies, and procurement strategy.
About You
* Has experience working with NEC4 contracts.
* Brings solid knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practice.
* Can analyse data, provide recommendations, and support complex decision-making.
* Works well under pressure and can manage a varied workload.
* Is an effective communicator and team player.
* Actively promotes positive values and inclusive behaviours.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
* Ideally working towards RICS or CIOB membership.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
* DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to attend site and partner offices as needed.
