Technology Business Management (Financial planning) - IT Business Consulting Specialist
Be a trusted advisor for IT and non-IT partners, by constantly following & facilitating internal needs, whilst incorporating external best practices and industry standards where relevant and applicable to Euroclear. Supports the organization in meeting our IT objectives aligned with our corporate objectives.
Develops effective relationships, processes, and systems with business units, divisions, or groups of users, and uses influence for transversal alignment across the organization. Ensures required services are identified, developed, and sustained to the satisfaction of the business unit/division.
Identifies gaps in processes and actively looks for efficient solutions, simplification, and/or industrialization in collaboration with IT Divisions and non-IT partners to ensure value delivery by the process where TMS is process owner.
CIO Management Office activities & processes
* Technology Business Management (TBM): Provides actionable financial information and advice to Technology decision makers, Finance, and business leaders.
* Portfolio Management: Ensures strong alignment of IT investments with CSD Strategic and Group Business Objectives & transparency on decisions and costs. Runs GTSC/Portfolio governance.
* IT Sourcing Strategy: Steers sourcing strategy for all IT organizations (Sourcing and Vendor Management, License and Software Asset Management, Request and Order Center of Excellence).
* People and Communication: Supports IT Divisions as a trusted partner and advisor on key people topics & IT communication.
* Partner Relationship Management: Manages Business – IT Relationship & Service Agreements, including quarterly service performance reviews and yearly Service Delivery Plan reviews, in collaboration with Service & Business Relationship Managers in IT.
* Transformation Office: Facilitates transparency for IT transformation delivery, communicates and reports on IT transformation progress, and aims to increase the impact of IT transformation for long-term outcomes.
* Local activities in UK, France & Poland: Acts as a relay of the global team and manages local specific activities on demand.
Contribute to operational, tactical, or strategic analysis of a company's total business in relation to used technology. Identify strategic capabilities (processes, skills, etc.) needed to create and sustain competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
TBM activities include:
* Conduct financial modeling, monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting related to technology expenses.
* Gather and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, conduct financial forecast analysis for future planning.
* Assist in preparing financial research and analysis for business strategies.
* Support data analysis and reporting tools optimization.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes, procedures, and best practices.
* Maintain a strong control environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Technology Business Management or related roles with cost management and financial analysis expertise.
* Strong financial analysis skills, including managing budgets and performing cost analysis.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including PowerBI and spreadsheets.
* Meticulous attention to detail for accuracy in financial analysis & reporting.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills across divisions and locations.
* Experience documenting processes, controls, and best practices.
* Familiarity with industry-standard technology infrastructure, software, and services.
* Knowledge of IT governance frameworks is a plus.
* Skills in handling standard & non-standard situations, decision-making, strategic focus, stakeholder management, autonomy, and leadership within the domain.
