Priory Hospital Hayes Grove are looking for a fully accredited CBT Therapist or Integrative Psychotherapist to support the delivery of support the service in the delivery of outpatient individual therapy to children and young people with a range of mental health issues. This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week.
Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is one of the UK’s leading mental health and addiction rehab hospitals. We can provide world class residential treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including treatment for depression, as well as drug and alcohol addiction treatment. We also provide outpatient treatment for young people as well as private CAMHS assessments options and private autism assessments for adults.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients. What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will hold a relevant therapy qualification (minimum Level 5 Diploma) and at least three-years post-qualification experience of working in a similar setting with children and young people. The role will involve the provision of therapy to outpatients who require therapeutic intervention, as well as the facilitation of assessments to signpost children and young people and their parents to the most suitable type of treatment. A good knowledge of CBT, risk assessments, and risk management is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to complete 60% of their contracted hours as clinical hours, fully on-site.
Full BACP, BABCP or UKCP accreditation is required for this role.
Please note, the successful candidate will be required to work shifts that cover late afternoon/evening hours, in view of the demand for after school appointments.
Applications from those working towards BACP accreditation within the next six to 12 months might be considered depending on experience, with a revised salary banding of £27,810-£36,050 pro rata until full accreditation is achieved.
