The Role
:
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and coordinating bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise monthly financial tasks including bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, and payroll to guarantee punctual completions.
2. Maintain stringent compliance with financial deadlines to prevent penalties and discrepancies.
3. Engage with clients to collect essential data, ensuring their requirements are meticulously met.
4. Coordinate activities among junior staff and external contractors to uphold standards of timeliness and accuracy.
5. Conduct reviews of team outputs before client delivery, ensuring precision and quality.
6. Deliver training and support on software tools and best practices to team members and clients.
Requirements:
7. Previously worked as a Junior Accountant, Semi-Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
8. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting practice.
9. Diploma of higher education.
10. Skilled in Excel, Xero, Dext, Hubdoc, and other pertinent accounting software.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
