Key Responsibilities Produce civil engineering design packages for a range of projects Deliver designs across highways, drainage and infrastructure Prepare drawings, calculations, technical reports and design outputs Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports Use Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Vehicle Tracking or similar software Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams Contribute to BIM workflows Provide efficient solutions to engineering and site challenges Support the full project lifecycle from concept to completion Occasional UK/European travel as requiredRequirements Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) 3-6 years' experience within a civil engineering consultancy Working towards IEng or CEng (ICE support provided) Strong understanding of engineering principles and UK design standards Experience in highway and/or drainage design Competent with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills Proactive, team-focused and able to work independently Experience with Eurocodes, RIBA stages or Due Diligence is an advantageBenefits Competitive salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Hybrid working: 3 days in Hertfordshire office / 2 days remote Extensive training & CPD opportunities ICE membership and annual professional fees paid Private medical insurance (including family cover) Life assurance & Bupa cash plan 25 days holiday bank holidays birthday off 7.5% employer pension contribution Supportive, friendly and inclusive working environment
