Our client, a leading global investment management firm is looking to hire a highly motivated and intellectually curious individual to join its London-based investment team as an Analyst to cover European equities, feeding into both long-only and long/short strategies. The successful candidate will support the investment process through in-depth fundamental research, detailed financial analysis, and the generation of long-term investment ideas across European markets. This role is suited to individuals with some foundational early career experience in equity research (at least 1 year), who are looking to transition into or build upon a career on the buy side. Key Responsibilities Conduct bottom-up fundamental analysis of European companies Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuations Monitor market developments, industry trends, and company news Prepare investment memos and research reports to support portfolio decisions Collaborate closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers Participate in meetings with company management teams and industry experts Role Requirements 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in equity research (buy side or sell side) Candidates MUST be a CFA Charterholder, having successfully completed all 3 levels, ideally with first-time passes. Candidates MUST speak a European language other than English.
