Job Description We are looking to recruit a Credit Officer to join the Irish Agents Credit Team. This team is responsible for the Vetting, Monitoring, and Collections functions for two independent fuel card companies operating in Ireland. This would be an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to challenge and improve existing processes and procedures, influence new ways of working and broaden their knowledge across the full credit control function. Due to the end-to-end nature of the role, the successful candidate will develop skills across all critical areas of credit control, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the function and its impact. Key Tasks Analyse and collate data from multiple sources to complete thorough risk reviews Communicate risk recommendations to senior stakeholders to help shape risk/reward decisions Review financial information and assess risk profiles to support credit decisions Maintain accurate customer credit limits to ensure accounts remain within approved thresholds Monitor customer transaction levels, identifying potential misuse or fraudulent activity Ensure accurate and timely record keeping across all credit-related systems and documentation Working day: We are looking for someone who can work 25 hours split across 5 days. There is some flexibility on start and finish times i.e. 9:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday would work well for the team. Qualifications Experience working in a credit function is desirable, not essential. Customer service skills and able to manage a varied workload within a busy department Good Microsoft Excel skills Diligent & a keen eye for detail Own queries and problem resolution Excellent ability to communicate at all levels Flexible approach and attitude Organised & able to work accurately within a timeframe Additional Information Still Curious?
