Chichester College Group (CCG) is on the lookout for a proactive, people-savvy, detail-loving Events Co-ordinator to join our buzzing Marketing & Communications Team. With seven campuses across West and East Sussex, no two days (or venues!) are the same.
You will join us on a full time, temporary basis (to cover Maternity leave) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,716 - £29,196 per annum.
The Events Co-ordinator Role:
In this role, you'll take the reins on everything from employer engagement events and student awards ceremonies to open days and graduation celebrations. You ll help bring our colleges to life through unforgettable experiences that celebrate, inform and inspire.
Key Responsibilities of our Events Co-ordinator:
* Leading the planning, logistics and delivery of events that elevate CCG s reputation and student experience.
* Managing suppliers, bookings, guest lists, staffing and everything in between.
* Being the friendly, solutions-focused go-to on the day - clipboard optional, calmness essential.
* Collaborating with curriculum teams, employers, and stakeholders to bring event goals to life.
* Creating event materials, briefing documents and post-event reports that feed into our continuous improvement culture.
* Ensuring everything runs like clockwork - with a bit of sparkle thrown in.
Our ideal Events Co-ordinator should have the following skills and experience:
* A relevant qualification (Events Management or similar) plus hands-on experience running events big and small.
* Proven communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure.
* Confidence using Office 365 and event platforms (booking systems, CRMs).
* Familiarity with risk assessments, GDPR, and budgeting (or ready to learn!)
* A flexible attitude and a desire to work with a fantastic team.
