Academics are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Stevenage area to recruit a dedicated and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-resourced department where Computer Science is a valued and growing subject across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3-KS5
* Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
* Teaching computational thinking, programming, and digital literacy skills
* Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress in line with school policies
* Contributing to curriculum development within the department
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
* A strong subject knowledge in Computer Science/ICT
* Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* The ability to inspire and motivate students
* Strong classroom management skillsA commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
