Overview
G R Employment Ltd are looking for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in St Austell, PL26 8LG. The correct candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from the customers. The Courier role is key to ensuring that the company principles and ethos are demonstrated at all times, ensuring that the service provided to customers is delivered with speed, passion and a can-do attitude. You will be expected to achieve excellent customer service, which requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
* Working shift is Tuesday to Saturday, 08:00 start. This position is to provide relief cover for the couriers. This is a temporary placement; for the right candidate, this position could become permanent.
* Cover the Penzance, Plymouth and north Devon area.
* Deliver and collect shipments daily; act as a frontline representative for the company in a customer-focused manner.
* Demonstrate excellent planning and organisation skills to prioritise work and meet customers’ requirements.
* Work on an assigned geographical route; may be asked to change your route from time to time to meet business needs.
* Scan and work efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met, with the ability to make good decisions and work under pressure.
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience in a multi-drop courier role
* 2 days of training will be given, one with the driver and one for health and safety driving assessment
