Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse required (Part time considered)
Salary: depending on experience

Successful, established practice looking for an enthusiastic full-time nurse to complement our current outstanding and experienced team of five nurses and five vets who are fully supported by a team of receptionists and a Practice Manager.
Owned and run by a husband and wife, we have steadily grown over the last 17 years and continue to invest in our team and practice facilities. We have the heart of an independent practice backed up with the Vets4Pets support structure.
We encourage high quality medicine and surgery and our nurses are given the opportunity to perform Schedule 3 procedures, use their skills to their full potential and assist our vets with a wide range of surgeries.
Our practice is an ideal place to develop and indulge yourself and your skill set. Our nursing team perform tasks such as anaesthesia, radiography, in-patient care (including isolation cases), blood pressure monitoring, consultations and nurse clinics, post-operative care and in-house laboratory work.
Our practice boasts a wide range of modern medical equipment such as digital x-ray, multiparameter monitoring, in-house laboratory, ultrasound and operating theatre. We are a nurse training practice, and RCVS Practice Standards Scheme GP accredited. Our recent PSS inspector commented ‘the practice has a great team vibe, and your check in chats and coffee with the team are a great example of how staff moral and development matters'.
Person Specification
Our practice requires a proactive attitude and "can do" approach to your daily routine. The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude, great work ethic and a drive for success to keep providing our patients with the outstanding care and compassion they deserve.
Shared Saturday morning 1 in 6 rota. No Sundays.
