Location: Bournemouth. Strong weekly presence needed in their Bournemouth office, with client visits and home working as part of the mix.


About the Role

We’re representing a brilliant fast-growing professional services business in the technology sector. They’re looking for a proven Strategic Account Manager to take ownership of key accounts, win new enterprise clients, and deliver long-term growth.

This is a senior B2B sales position with a strong focus on new business development as well as key account management. You’ll combine outbound activity, client meetings, and a very consultative approach to build trusted, long-term relationships at a very senior level.


Key Responsibilities

* Win and grow business with enterprise/strategic clients through new business development, B2B sales, and key account management.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships with senior stakeholders (up to C-suite level).
* Drive new business via proactive outreach: phone sales, client meetings, networking, and face-to-face presentations.
* Take a very consultative approach, understanding client needs and shaping tailored solutions.
* Deliver revenue against ambitious sales targets and activity KPIs.
* Conduct account planning to deepen client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
* Keep on top of market trends and competitors to generate new business opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure delivery aligns with client needs.


What We’re Looking For

* A very consultative sales style, with the ability to influence and add value at senior level.
* Proven success in professional services sales (e.g. IT services, consulting, outsourcing, SaaS solutions).
* Experience scoping and delivering Statement of Work (SOW) engagements - comfortable shaping complex service agreements with senior stakeholders.
* Ideally with experience selling into banks/financial services.
* Strong track record in business development - consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong experience of strategic account management and client relationship management.
* A true high achiever with the right attitude: credible, driven, resilient, and professional.

* OTE c.£180,000 (realistic and achievable)
