Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Revit Designer / Technician to support the delivery of major wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team, producing high-quality 2D and 3D design deliverables for complex water and wastewater schemes.
The successful candidate will possess extensive Revit experience, strong technical drawing capabilities, and a solid understanding of engineering design principles. You will play a key role in developing detailed models and drawings, ensuring all deliverables are produced to programme, budget, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce high-quality design drawings and 3D models using Revit.
* Develop detailed design deliverables in collaboration with Design Engineers and other technical disciplines.
* Ensure all drawings comply with relevant CAD standards, engineering practices, and project requirements.
* Create and maintain accurate engineering models and drawing packages throughout the design lifecycle.
* Utilise standard details, design standards, and best practice methodologies when preparing drawings.
* Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
* Accurately record time and contribute to estimating effort for future design activities.
* Maintain document control processes using ProjectWise and other document management systems.
* Minimise design rework through quality-focused delivery and attention to detail.
* Support continuous improvement of drafting and modelling processes.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience using Autodesk Revit within engineering projects.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to interpret and produce technical drawings.
* Experience producing detailed 3D models and associated drawing packages.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Desirable Requirements
* HNC or higher qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.
* Experience working within the water or wastewater sector.
* Knowledge of relevant CAD standards and utility infrastructure drawing practices.
* Experience using ProjectWise or similar document management systems.
* Advanced 3D modelling experience across complex infrastructure projects.
