CAD Technician (Railway)

Are you a CAD Technician who is looking to join a growing company inside of the rail industry who are offering large amounts of training and progression to their new employees.
Do you want to be a part of a growing company who are looking to grow their projects and employee base, with plans to hire a new CAD Technician to help with the increased workload whilst providing excellent training courses, allowing the successful CAD Technician to develop into clear progression opportunities.
On offer, is the chance for a CAD Technician to become apart of a pre-construction and design management company who work specifically in the rail industry for rail depots and bespoke industries. Founded in 2013, this fast-growing company has continued to increase in headcount and projects year on year.
In this role, the successful CAD Technician will be producing 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, and Navisworks, undertaking designs to support administrative duties such as filing incoming drawings, reports, specifications, and design approvals. The successful CAD Technician will also be responsible for ensuring the standards for BIM requirements and specific client standards. The successful CAD Technician will be required in the office 8-5 Monday to Thursday, and 8-3:30 on a Friday.
The ideal CAD Technician will have experience using Revit or Microstation, CAD, Projectwise, and previous experience working as a CAD Technician. The successful CAD Technician requires a Degree or HNC relevant to the build environment, with great attention to detail and communication skills.
