The Business Resilience team is currently hiring a Resilience Testing Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will coordinate and support the continuous development, embedding and management of resilience testing activities within Admiral EUI.

You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including target business areas to understand and analyse Resilience needs across the company.Working diligently to support our Important Business Services (IBS) and Business Continuity Plans within EUI, you will instil best practice to ensure continuous compliance to relevant regulations, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute resilience testing strategies: Formulate and implement comprehensive testing scenarios to evaluate the organisation’s capacity to endure and recover from disruptions. Conduct scenario-based assessments across all IBS areas and departments to measure resiliency and identify potential gaps.
* Risk assessment and analysis: identify potential operational risks and vulnerabilities and evaluate their impact on business continuity and operational resilience.
* Scenario planning: create severe but plausible, challenging scenarios that simulate potential disruptions, including natural disasters, cyber-attacks, and other crisis events.
* Exit Plan Testing: perform testing of third-party exit plans across all relevant third parties within EUI and report necessary findings to the relevant stakeholders and committees.
* Cross departmental testing: identify and input into business wide testing to ensure resilience is considered in all testing outcomes.
* Collaboration with stakeholders: work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Cyber, Risk Management and business departments, to ensure alignment and effectiveness of resilience testing strategies.
* Testing execution and evaluation: lead and coordinate resilience testing exercises, analyse results, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Performing scenario testing across all IBS areas and departments to assess resiliency and identify gaps.
* Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation that describe testing results, insights, and best practices to inform continuous improvement efforts for both internal and external stakeholders. Support the Operational Resilience Committee and Operational Resilience Working Group by contributing input and material for meeting packs.
* Compliance and Standards: ensure testing aligns with regulations, standards, and best practices. Seek ongoing improvements in testing methods. Support organisation-wide delivery of the Business Resilience framework to meet regulatory requirements.
* Training and awareness: assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee awareness and preparedness for potential disruptions.

This is not a full definition of the role but covers the main aspects and drivers for success.

In addition to the above core responsibilities, you will be expected to assist the team in delivering against our wider objectives including management support, as necessary.

Experience and Skills required

Essential:

* Proven experience as a Resilience Testing Analyst or similar role.
* Strong understanding of scenario testing methodologies.
* Solutions focussed, especially when dealing with challenges.
* Methodical with good attention to detail.
* Experience in risk/issue identification and root cause analysis.
* Able to collaborate with, influence, and support a wide variety of stakeholders.
* Able to manage and prioritise a varied workload and deadlines.
* Experience or knowledge in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk and compliance.

Desirable:

* Knowledge and understanding of governance frameworks, process and flow mapping.
* Experience in the Financial Services regulatory environment.
* Experience of Third-Party Risk Management.
* A inside knowledge of Admiral, its departments and the risk environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of governance frameworks, risk, and compliance.
* Experience of developing and establishing new procedures and processes.
* Able to analyse information or situations and make informed decisions or recommendations.
* Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Experience of writing reports and minutes.
* Confident running workshops and meetings.
* Understanding or involvement within a Procurement / Supplier environment.
