An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator—receptionist to join our friendly team based at The Rosewood Centre, Middlesbrough, supporting the Middlesbrough Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. Reception duties include greeting service users, carers, staff and visitors and answering queries via telephone and email. The ability to remain calm and communicate clearly is essential, as is promoting a positive culture for children and young people living with mental health issues and/or neuro‑diverse conditions. The successful candidate will be expected to perform administrative tasks, update calendars, prepare appointment letters, maintain visitor logs, handle incoming and outgoing post and calls, photocopy, scan and ensure that all information in the reception area for staff and public is clearly displayed and updated as appropriate. Qualifications
* BTEC Diploma/Level 2 qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience, or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Business and Administration
* Key skills or functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9)) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role. Data inputting experience.
* Experience of general office duties.
* Customer service experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Understanding of confidentiality and how to maintain this.
* Knowledge of office systems and processes.
* Knowledge of receiving visitors/telephone callers and taking accurate messages.
