Job Description

Manager - Italy Team

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Team: EA Coordination – Italy Team

Office Location: London or Sheffield, UK

The role:

Managers within Fragomen are responsible for the day-to-day management of not only the team they lead, and ongoing improvement of the processes but also client relationships.

This means that you will take the lead on the allocation and output of the team, as well as identifying new work opportunities for the firm and undertaking appropriate actions to acquire new work for the practice, with the support of the Partners, Directors and Senior Managers.

1. Management of a diverse team, their workload, performance, training and quality of support for clients.
2. Responsible for maintaining good client relationships and close management of VIP cases, escalations as well as active participation in presentation and meetings with clients.
3. Management of a diverse network of providers and their performance and quality of support for clients.
4. Take the lead on diverse projects imperative to the ongoing improvement cycle of organisation processes for the benefit of Fragomen and the team.
5. Share best practices and provide strategic insights into complex inquiries, projects, high profile matters.
6. Identify and pursue new client opportunities.
7. Enforcing existing service delivery standards and building new processes.
8. Scoping and pricing of service models; identifying and implementing new service models for the team.

The team:

The EMEA Coordination team is responsible for processing the applications of our clients for countries where Fragomen does not have a physical office.

This is a dynamic team with employees from various backgrounds and countries with at least 20 different languages being spoken.

What we are looking for:

9. Similar experience at this level within Italian immigration, specifically with supervisory and mentoring experience gained through team management and vendor performance.
10. Proven record of client facing and strong customer service experience, and the ability to present in front of the client, manage escalations.
11. Ability to analyse, structure, build and define clear processes, ability to identify opportunities and provide innovative solutions, proven record of strategic thinking and advisory work.
12. Ability to identify, assess and manage risk for the organisation when making decisions.
13. Excellent organisation skills with ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines, monitor budget and manage multiple projects.
14. Ability to motivate, lead and develop a growing team, leading and coaching teams while working as an enthusiastic member of the team.
15. Italian language skills.

What to expect:

24. If shortlisted, you will be invited to participate in our interview process, which will consist of at least two stages, one of which will be conducted in-person. Depending on the role, you may also be required to complete a written assessment.
