Job Summary
Inspired Roofing Solutions are a growing company and we are seeking a dedicated freelance laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various roofing projects, assisting with tasks that require physical strength and technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the install, repair, and replace roofs on residential and commercial buildings;
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively;
* Perform heavy lifting as required, moving materials and equipment around the working areas or site;
* Support skilled tradespeople in tasks where required;
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
* Experience within the roofing industry is preferred but not essential.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction
* Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions from supervisors
* Driving license is required as jobs can be in different locations around the area.
* CSCS Card required but if you do not currently hold one, we will assist with the costs for training and application.
