Overview
As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across a 20‑mile radius to help residents get the most out of life. The role is varied and includes providing cover as needed, monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person‑centred care planning, and recording observations such as temperature and blood pressure. You will also provide support and companionship to ensure meaningful one‑to‑one time with residents.

About the Role
You must be a driver with access to your own car. The role requires shifts at Meadow Park (NE22 6LA), Chester Court (NE22 6LA), Station Court (NE63 8HE), and Woodhorn Park (NE63 9AN). Mileage is covered when travelling over five miles from your main home. On occasion, duties may include travel to different sites to provide care across the specified area.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Background in care and understanding of elderly care.
* Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care would be useful.
* Good understanding of the wider healthcare industry.
* GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above is desirable.
* Dedicated and compassionate; able to travel across the area.
* Own car or ready access to one; mileage covered when travelling >5 miles from main home.

Work Pattern
