Salary
Salary scale 5: £30,165 – £33,119 pro rata per annum.
Working Hours & Term
30 hours per week, fixed term until 31st March 2027. Flexible working pattern.
Job Purpose
Promote, facilitate and increase the use of Welsh language within the classroom on a daily basis, and support and encourage learners with all aspects of Welsh language.
Qualifications
* Excellent written and verbal Welsh language skills.
* Ability to work harmoniously with learners and staff.
* Emotional resilience when working with students in challenging situations.
* Knowledge of Welsh Language Standards and compliance requirements (desirable).
* Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK.
* Evidence of DBS disclosure for child and adult workforce and registration as a FE Learning Support Worker with the Education Workforce Council.
* Right to work in the UK (applicant must provide evidence if not a UK citizen).
