Join a leading consultancy delivering complex hyperscale data centre projects across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the electrical delivery and coordination within a major MEP fit out, working with world-class clients in the mission-critical sector.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager (Electrical Bias), you’ll lead the delivery of a large-scale data centre fit out, with a particular focus on electrical infrastructure, from design coordination and procurement through to commissioning and handover. You’ll manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure successful project outcomes across quality, cost, and programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the electrical scope of major data centre fit out projects, including LV/MV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and critical power distribution.
* Manage interfaces between electrical, mechanical, and architectural workstreams.
* Lead progress meetings, manage contractors and suppliers, and ensure adherence to technical standards and project specifications.
* Coordinate with design consultants, clients, and commissioning teams across multiple geographies.
* Monitor programme, budget, and risk, maintaining control over delivery milestones.
* Contribute to best practices, mentor junior project managers, and support business growth in the data centre sector.
About You
* 5 -15 years’ experience in project management within data centres, mission-critical environments, or large-scale industrial MEP projects.
* Strong electrical engineering background, ideally within consultancy or client-side delivery.
* Proven experience managing high-voltage, low-voltage, and power distribution systems through design, installation, and commissioning.
* Knowledge of Swiss construction standards, procurement, and contract administration.
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Construction Management.
* Fluent in English; German and/or French proficiency preferred.
