We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals interested in joining our established ISA & CE&I Engineering delivery teams based in Whitehaven. You will join an experienced team with diverse industry knowledge.
The Opportunities
Opportunities exist to work on the ISA, a true alliance-style contract focused on cleaning up and decommissioning Europe’s most complex nuclear site. The ISA aims to enhance the current capability of Sellafield Ltd to deliver program management and project delivery for infrastructure assets, primarily utility assets. Arup, in joint venture with Morgan Sindall, brings best practices from other utilities and infrastructure programs, emphasizing risk reduction and innovation. We support Sellafield Ltd in delivering higher quality more efficiently while maintaining industry-approved safety standards.
Candidate Profile
We welcome candidates at all seniority levels with backgrounds or experience in:
* Civil Engineering
* Electrical Engineering

Qualifications and Experience
* A degree in a relevant technical field such as civil engineering, MSC in engineering, or equivalent; or aspiring to professional accreditation
* Knowledge of design tools and techniques, including IT systems, BIM, thermal/energy analysis, and calculation packages
* Experience with MV/LV power design and distribution
* Passion for design delivery and coordinating innovative designs with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Micro-drainage, etc.
* Holding a P4/P1 pass and BPSS/SC clearance is advantageous; otherwise, candidates will be required to obtain necessary clearances, including BPSS, P4/P1, and Scottish Disclosure or equivalent.
