The Role:
As the successful Production Team Leader, your duties will be:
1. Lead, motivate, and support production teams in all operational aspects.
2. Adhere to quality control standards, ensuring production output meets quality criteria and maintaining records as required.
3. Liaise with site Quality Technicians for quality assurance.
4. Respond quickly to operational conditions, troubleshooting issues to optimise efficiency.
5. Utilise Lean Management tools to drive continuous improvement in productivity while managing production costs.
6. Support maintenance tasks, coordinating machine downtime and repairs in collaboration with Production Supervisors.
7. Monitor and manage stock levels of materials for production and repairs to support continuous operations.
8. Ensure adherence to production schedules, escalating issues promptly to Supply Chain Planning Managers and Production Supervisors.
9. Record daily production figures accurately.
10. Promote and enforce HSEQ procedures, safe systems of work, and legislative requirements
Requirements for the successful Production Team Leader:
11. At least 3 years operational experience in a similar role preferably within an automated, manufacturing environment.
12. Computer literate.
13. Previous experience in routine and preventative maintenance
14. Ability to record and report production data precisely.
15. Adherence and appreciation for housekeeping standards
16. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
17. Sound technical ability
18. Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job.
Hours of work:
19. Mon - Fri 6am - 4pm
