Director of programmes and transformation

About the Role

The Director of Programmes and Transformation will provide strategic and operational leadership for the development and delivery of the Trust's strategic objectives. This role leads the Planning and Programme Management Office (PMO) and oversees the full portfolio of transformational programmes, including the Cost Improvement Programme (CIP) and other Trust and system‑level change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape, coordinate, and assure delivery across the organisation's transformation priorities to secure long‑term sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the Trust's senior programme lead and the Deputy CEO's formal deputy, providing senior leadership in planning and strategy development and delivery.
• Lead the Trust's annual planning processes and the ongoing development and delivery of the refreshed strategy and strategic priorities.
• Oversee programme delivery, performance, and impact across the organisation.
