Join Our Team as HR Business Partner
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join the Oakland Care People Team as HR Business Partner! Our ideal candidate will be a generalist HR professional, providing advice and support in all areas of People Management—from Employee Relations to Wellbeing. You will work with the Director of People and Organisational Development to ensure the successful delivery of the People Strategy. Region and Travel
The role covers four areas: Enfield, Head Office, Harpenden, and Oxfordshire, with the expectation that you will be onsite at each location at least once a week. Travel expenses are paid.

Details
Location: Regional role – onsite at each home once a week (travel expenses paid)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £46,800 per annum plus £3,000 car allowance
Contract: Permanent
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
* 3–5 years’ experience in a HR Business Partner or similar HR Generalist role.
* Knowledge of HR policies and processes.
* Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification or proven equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Employee Relations casework, including absence management, capability, and performance, in partnership with local management teams.
* Support managers with ER documentation, investigation reports, dismissal letters, appeals, and grievances.
* Oversee HR Compliance Audits across all homes and advise General Managers and Administrators.
* Collaborate on developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
* Meet with stakeholders to discuss people challenges and provide advice.
* Support talent review meetings and succession planning with the Head of L&D.
* Coach and guide key stakeholders to improve business efficiency.
* Manage payroll administration for Head Office employees.
* Lead projects supporting the People strategy at local levels.
* Manage and promote company Wellbeing initiatives and Wellbeing Champions across sites.
