Contracts Manager
Location: Norwich (Hybrid)Salary: £55,000 (inclusive of car allowance)Contract: Permanent, Full-time
We are recruiting a Contracts Manager to join a well-established procurement business operating across the public sector. This is a key role within a small, growing organisation, offering exposure to nationally used frameworks and the opportunity to influence long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate will become one of two Contracts Managers, working closely with senior leadership to manage client projects delivered through established procurement frameworks.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of selected client projects procured through framework agreements. You will act as a key point of contact for clients and suppliers, ensuring contracts are managed effectively, disputes are handled appropriately, and performance is monitored and reported accurately.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing client projects delivered via procurement frameworks
* Attending and contributing to contract review meetings
* Assisting with contractual disputes, including interpretation of terms
* Reviewing and analysing KPI and performance reports
* Liaising with clients to identify and secure future opportunities
* Compiling documentation to facilitate clients entering into contract with suppliers
* Producing reports to support client governance and internal processes
About You
We are looking for a confident, commercially aware professional with experience in social housing or public sector environments.
Essential/Highly Desirable experience:
* Background in social housing, either within a local authority or housing association
* Strong understanding of contract management within a regulated environment
* Experience working with JCT contracts, ideally Measured Term Contracts, including dispute support
* Technical knowledge of domestic property compliance
You will be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders, reviewing performance data, and managing multiple priorities in a small but ambitious organisation.
