Electoral Services Assistant role at Derbyshire County Council.

Responsibilities
* Voter registration - Maintain accurate voter registration records, including data entry and verification.
* Election logistics - Support the planning, organisation and coordination of election events.
* Voter communication - Respond to inquiries from voters, candidates and other stakeholders.
* Documentation - Prepare and maintain documentation relating to the electoral processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
* Data management - Manage voter databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications / Requirements
The successful applicant will need to be a keen and confident IT user with good keyboard skills. We are also looking for someone who is great at working as part of a team and willing to be flexible as you will occasionally need to work evenings and weekends in the run up to polling day.
Whilst experience in a democratic and/or electoral services environment would be useful, applications from candidates with transferable skills and some experience of working in deadline driven and pressurised roles are just as welcome.
