Responsibilities
* Provide PTA support under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, delivering prescribed rehab activities
* Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, range‑of‑motion and strengthening programs, balance work, and functional mobility tasks
* Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate findings to the supervising PT and rehab team
* Help prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and assistive devices; ensure patient safety and infection control standards
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercises, and safety considerations; coordinate with nursing and therapy staff to support overall goals
