We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to lead our Marketing division and brand partners, leading promotions and offers.
You will join our small but well knit Head Office team, just outside Colchester, this will mean that you can be sociable and have a laugh with us but also focus on the task at hand and get the job done when needed, encourage colleagues, you're a great planner, good at timekeeping, with attention to detail and you never miss a deadline!
About you-
You know our market and our audience, you'll be used to adapting your brand voice and reflecting on our ROI to tweak our next campaigns.
You're excited by seeing your work gain traction and convert into increased footfall and guest spend in our restaurants and hotels.
You're well versed in reporting data relating to your campaigns, click throughs, bounce backs, attraction of the new menus, creating a buzz with the marketing pieces and campaigns you work with hotel managers on and all that they generate.
You will need to use all of your marketing design skills and market intelligence to propose the best fit for the job at hand- whether that's creating copy, updating websites, branding pieces or creating mouth watering imagery of new dishes.
The Marketing Manager Role:
* Ideas-you've got them and can plan and bring the project together
* Delegate and do- you work with colleagues inter-departmentally and with Senior Management to ensure direction is clear and momentum maintained
* Producing campaigns and offers, from idea to fruition- costed and appealing
* Website, SEO, Google Analytics and Tags- maximising all we can do and our brand reach
* You oversee management of social media platforms- including image content and video creation- ensuring pieces are up to date, relevant and increase activity
* Reviewing guest complaints received through online channels- noting trends and recommendations
* Working with Marketing Co-ordinator and Brand partners - publishing updates and blog posts on our website.
* Well versed in dissecting guest data, segmenting planning and maximising ROI- you'll lead working our guest database to increase footfall and revenues
* Creating reports, reviewing and analysing with Brand Manager and MD to decide next steps.
* Working with Sales and Commercial Revenue team on briefs, offers and Campaigns.
* Working with Senior Managers and Leaders to create strategic plan and calendars for events
* Aware of competitor activity and ways to stay ahead of the curve- what's next?
* Team ethos- you drive it- to maximise revenue, measure ROI and strategise future plans
Your Marketing Manager Skills:
* Established experience in a Marketing role, looking for next step- hospitality or retail industry and/or multi site organisation would be advantageous
* Understand statistics, reporting and ROI to make best placed decision and recommendations for progress
* Experience in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn is Required.
* Proven Experience with creation software is essential e.g. Adobe, Canva and CRM Management
* Strong English language and both written and verbal communication are required.
* Experience in programs such as: Wordpress, Tripadvisor, and Database management/ segmentation or similar will be hugely beneficial.
* The ability to manage and prioritise workloads and projects as needed- adhering to deadline and confident in liaising across the Company at all levels.
This Marketing Manager role is a FULL TIME on site (in office) role, whilst you will visit sites for research, media and campaign production, the role primarily works from our small Head Office, in Ardleigh, just outside Colchester.
