Joining us as CIO, you will have the unique and exciting opportunity to shape IT for a newly formed, international group, as well as having the ownership that youd expect from this position. Your influence and leadership will shape the growth and direction of 7 Steel, whilst simultaneously providing the infrastructure and support for our manufacturing and corporate functions, across the UK and Nordics.
7 Steel have recently been acquired by Sev.en Global Investments; we are seeking someone with the knowledge and skills to develop an IT transition plan, and confidently lead us through separation, whilst navigating our legacy environment.
Along with this, your key responsibilities will include:
Establish an operating model and team to provide organisation wide support
Take ownership of existing technology platforms and implement value-driven solutions
Set organisational standards for IT security rigour, specifically incident readiness and recovery capabilities suitable for production-critical operations
Develop a strong team and stakeholder partnerships
Set the longer-term digitalisation strategy to enable 7 Steel to achieve ambitious objectives
Full commercial ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and leading contract performance
You will be a senior IT / IT security professional, who can display a successful track record of leading teams across multiple countries. You will also have experience of delivering a significant IT transition, as well as IT operations, service delivery, and a strong comprehension of security fundamentals and governance. As well as technical skills, it is important to us that you put your people first; we believe in creating strong team relationships and developing our talent.
Preferred:
Qualifications in IT/Engineering/Business (or a related field)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., ITIL,CISM/CISSP) are an advantage
Fluent written and spoken English is a requirement; Nordic language(s) are an advantage
