We are recruiting a Cook and a Catering Assistant for a supported living setting in the Foyle area. These are temporary, ongoing assignments to cover annual leave and sickness for 1 month, with the potential for extension based on performance and setting needs. Cook Role Hours of work: 9:00am 5:00pm Rota based monday - sunday 2 shifts per week. Pay rate: £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.00 on Saturdays, and £19.00 on Sundays Duties include: Preparing and cooking meals in line with menus and dietary requirements Ensuring meals are prepared to a high standard and served on time Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness Managing food storage and stock rotation Adhering to health and safety and food safety regulations Carrying out all other associated cooking duties Kitchen Assistant Role Hours of work: 10:00am and 2:00pm Pay rate: £12.50 per hour Monday to Friday, £13.50 on Saturdays, and £14.50 on Sundays Duties include: Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Cleaning and sanitising kitchen areas in line with hygiene standards Assisting with food service to residents Ensuring health, safety, and food hygiene procedures are followed Carrying out all other associated kitchen duties What We Need From You Similar experience desirable Willingness to undergo Access NI clearance What We Will Offer You High quality training A minimum of 28 days paid holidays (pro rata) Inclusion into our company pension scheme
