SEND Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School, Middleton (Rochdale)
£90 - £100 per day | Full-time | Start Date: ASAP
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in Middleton, Rochdale, who are seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team immediately.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities across KS3 and KS4. You will be working under the direction of the SENCO and class teachers, providing both one-to-one and small group support to help pupils achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Supporting students with SEND to access the curriculum and engage in learning.
Assisting teachers with planning and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
Helping pupils to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure consistent support.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have previous experience working in schools or within the education sector (essential).
Be confident in supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
Demonstrate patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through Tradewind (we are happy to reimburse the cost of processing new applications).
The Offer:
Competitive daily rate of £90 - £100.

Ongoing CPD and support from Tradewind Recruitment.
Reimbursement for the cost of DBS processing if required.
