Our leading client is seeking a Cloud & Application Engineer to take ownership of their AWS-based SaaS platform. This hybrid role combines the strengths of a DevOps Engineer with the skills of a Cloud Application Developer, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of our connected services solutions.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office / Coventry per week .
🌟 What You’ll Do:
* Deploy and maintain robust AWS cloud infrastructure for SaaS platforms.
* Develop and support modern web applications and APIs using .NET (MVC, C#), Angular/TypeScript, and Python.
* Enhance and evolve existing codebases while implementing new features to meet dynamic business needs.
* Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
* Automate infrastructure with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
* Ensure top-tier security, performance, and scalability across all cloud services.
* Collaborate in Agile teams using Scrum and Jira, and participate in an on-call support rota.
🧠What You Bring:
* Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.).
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Strong programming skills in .NET, Angular/TypeScript, Python, and JavaScript.
* A proactive mindset with a passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
