Our client in Buckinghamshire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join their expanding practice on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant office environment with a focus on delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse client portfolio, including small businesses, sole traders, and limited companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing VAT and CIS returns, assisting with self-assessment tax returns, and supporting clients with cloud accounting systems. Additionally, you will oversee and mentor junior team members, contributing to the team's growth and efficiency. This role is office based in Milton Keynes, Monday to Friday 9-5.30
1. AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice, as a semi senior, practice accountant
3. Solid understanding of VAT, CIS, Income Tax, and Corporation Tax
4. Experience managing self-assessment tax returns and client bookkeeping
5. Previous mentoring or reviewing junior staff members
