The Corporate team is currently made up of 16 other Corporate Client Advisers, split across 3 offices. Key Accountabilities Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with client on day-to-day basis Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with insurers on day-to-day basis Processing MTA’s and administration Ensuring all communications, documents, invoices are issued in a compliant way in line with company Policies & Procedures and full utilisation of Acturis Attend client visits and when appropriate contribute/support CD with answering queries, this will be done in conjunction with the CD (either in person or via MS Teams) Start to input with programme design by identifying potential gaps in cover or at least having the discussion with CD Answering client queries in an efficient and accurate manner and ensuring that we are managing expectations Open to the potential of developing a specialist subject (E.G Cyber or Construction) Broking clients under £10k premium (or passing to CBU) and Scheme / Facility business Production of initial draft Broking presentation for Broker (if we are pre-appointed) for clients over £10k premium Invoicing Risk Register production Updating records with any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements, Fact Finds and underwriting information. Production of initial draft Broking presentation for Broker. Liaising with CD / Broker on broking strategy to be employed Obtaining terms from holding insurers Producing a professional renewal report which meets the clients expectations and is fully compliant Prepare renewal pack to a strong standard with minimal input Invoicing within the agreed SLAs Risk Register production Policy wordings – ensuring correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements Review claims experience and notify CD ahead of renewal if they feel there will be any issues Start to get involved with contract reviews, with the guidance of more senior members of the team undertake some basic reviews Person Specification Cert CII Dip CII - desirable Considerable experience in the insurance industry preferably with Corporate Client Servicing experience Excellent attitude to continued learning and development. Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment Target book size of £350,000 - £450,000 made up of ‘mid-range’ cases Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and Word Strong working knowledge of the Acturis system or similar insurance software - desirable Considerable working knowledge of General Commercial Lines business and the Broking market A can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently, to deadlines and multitask in order to get required work done Openly keep updated with changes in the wider market and promote discussions within the team when necessary.
