IT Support Engineer Up to £32k Farnham, Surrey middle is partnered with an IT Managed Services Provider (MSP/IT Consultancy) based in Farnham to onboard a 2nd Line Engineer! After placing within the business, we know firsthand how well they treat their staff and clients! This is a great move for a Service Desk/IT Support Engineer looking for the right environment to grow and develop their skills. They love helping their SME clients in the region and are ever-growing, through natural business referrals all thanks to the great engineers already onsite. The Role: You will be joining a close-knit team of Engineers to offer 1st/2nd line duties within their managed services team. Support circa 3,500 end user clients with their day-to-day IT support, whilst gaining access to projects such as; site relocation, server installs and upgrades, implementing backup solutions and much more. Ideal Skills: Proficient experience within Windows environments. O365, SharePoint, Exchange and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Directory) experience. (user admin and GPO level ideally). Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues within a fast-paced environment circa 100 tickers per day in the team. Hardware knowledge and troubleshooting. Understanding of networking principles and protocols Routers, Switches, connectivity, VLAN A minimum of 1 year experience on a Service Desk/IT Support.
