* These students struggle with additional needs that include autism, ADHD, OCD, school avoidance, stress and anxiety.
* You will be working one to one with students who need specialized support, assisting with their personalized intervention plans.
* You will provide therapeutic support that will help support the children and teach them healthy ways to cope and regulate their emotions.
* You will also be involved and help with the general running's of the classroom.
* The ideal Autism Support Assistant will be kind, compassionate and have a passion for helping children.
* You will be up for a challenge and not only proactive but also take initiative.
* Many of the children that attend this school have education and health care plans so you must be able to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the children.
* You must also have an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.
