The role of the Functional Test Engineer would be well suited to an engineer looking for a new challenge. Working within the R&D team you will take an active role in our of Electronics Testing on PCB's, including Digital and Analogue Testing This role is very varied and right from the start you will be gaining hands-on experience of exciting Audio Products products and technology.
Responsibilities
Testing: Test new sub-assemblies to a demanding schedule while adhering to strict quality standards.
Repair: Diagnose and repair field returns in line with Service Level Agreements.
Development: Contribute to the development of production test documentation and improve automated test solutions as needed
Analysis & Reporting: Analyse test results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings and potential solutions to the Production management, QA and Engineering teams.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of test activities, ensuring compliance with established reporting procedures.
Problem-Solving: Prioritise tasks effectively and apply logical analysis to complex problems
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and preferably a qualification in Electronics, Physics or Engineering, along with:
* Electronics Test both Digital and Analogue
* Experience with PCB sub-assemblies - testing and repair
* Knowledge of microprocessor-based systems is desirable but not essential
* Strong SMT rework skills• Experience or a keen interest in technology and audio mixing
