SEN English Teacher – Full Time | Ipswich
Are you a passionate SEN English Teacher looking to make a genuine difference? We’re working with a specialist school in Ipswich that is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team full time, starting immediately and continuing into the 2026 academic year.
This specialist setting supports pupils aged 5–16 with complex Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Students may present with Cognition and Learning needs, moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyspraxia, global developmental delay, and related diagnoses. Teaching is highly personalised, nurturing, and focused on each child’s developmental and learning needs.
We’re looking for a flexible, compassionate, and committed SEN English Teacher who thrives in a supportive environment and is passionate about helping young people succeed.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Your Role
Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons tailored to students with SEND
Support pupils to reach their full potential through individual learning plans
Contribute to assessment, curriculum planning, and progress tracking
Work collaboratively with a skilled and supportive SEN team
About You
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in a SEND or specialist school setting
Hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) — ideally on the Update Service
Possess a valid UK driving licence (essential)
Are adaptable, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
