Job Title: Educational Healthcare Assistant

Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Assist in the care and support of students with healthcare needs in an educational setting
* Administer medication and provide medical assistance as required
* Monitor and record students' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
* Support students with physical disabilities or medical conditions in their daily activities
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for students
Required Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Education or equivalent qualification
* Enhanced DBS check
Education:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
* Previous experience working in a healthcare or educational setting
* Experience administering medication and providing medical support
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of medical conditions and disabilities that may affect students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training in dealing with specific medical conditions
* Experience working with children and young people
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position based in an educational setting
* May require some evening or weekend work for school events or emergencies
* Physical demands may include lifting and assisting students with mobility needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
