Job Role: Recruitment Administrator
We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Administrator to join our fast-paced Recruitment Team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering efficient, customer-focused recruitment and administrative services, ensuring candidates are processed effectively and all pre-employment checks (ID, Right to Work, DBS, professional registration, occupational health, references) are completed per NHS guidelines.
2. Liaising with new starters, managers, Occupational Health, and external organizations for smooth onboarding.
3. Providing professional reception and administrative support, maintaining positive representation of the Trust.
4. Carrying out accurate pre-employment checks and managing related documentation and systems.
5. Supporting recruitment events, initiatives, and projects.
6. Maintaining all personal and electronic files for audit purposes.
7. Creating and updating electronic personal files and maintaining the Electronic Staff Record system.
8. Providing general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and taking minutes.
9. Ensuring excellent communication with candidates and hiring managers, and handling enquiries professionally.
Qualifications and experience required:
* NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Effective communication skills, experience handling sensitive data, and delivering high customer care standards.
* Experience in a busy administrative environment and reception duties.
Desirable skills include knowledge of ESR or similar databases, pre-employment checking experience, attention to detail, and good interpersonal skills. Ability to self-manage and support diversity are also valued.
