Job Overview
An opportunity to join the Prevent Team at Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE). Working within Prevent, the role involves preventing individuals from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism.
Responsibilities
* Complete timely assessments to identify individuals vulnerable to radicalisation.
* Make decisions regarding the outcome of Prevent referrals.
* Liaise with internal and external partners to gather information and make informed assessments using decision‑making tools.
* Accurately record and categorise Prevent referrals in the Prevent Case Management system.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong communication skills and experience of partnership working.
* Ability to handle sensitive information.
* Understanding of the National Prevent Strategy and the Counter Terrorism & Securities Act 2015.
* Flexibility with working hours; occasional work away from home may be required.
* Full UK driving licence.
* British National, residing in the UK for at least five years (exemptions for overseas or diplomatic service may apply).
* Requirements for SC-level vetting and enhanced security checks; limited travel to certain countries.
