Year R Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Contract: Full-time, ongoing
A welcoming primary school in Amesbury is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children in Reception (Year R). This full-time role is to start in November 2025 and offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with young learners at the start of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support pupils in Reception with learning, play, and personal development.
2. Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
3. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
4. Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
5. Experience working with early years or primary-aged children.
6. A patient, warm, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Availability to start in November and commit to full-time hours.
